The Sacred Magic of Abramelin The Mage – Book 1 – Translated by S.L. MacGregor Mathers

This remarkable book has had a huge influence on modern ceremonial magic, and has been cited as a primary influence on Aleister Crowley. It also tells of raising the dead, transforming ones appearance, becoming invisible, and starting storms. The key to this is a set of remarkable magic squares, sigils consisting of mystical words which in most cases can be read in several directions.
Sepher Ha-Bahir (The Book of Illumination)
The Bahir is one of the oldest and most important of all Kabbalistic texts. Until the publication of the Zohar, the Bahir was the most influential source of Kabbalistic teachings. It is quoted in virtually every major Kabbalistic work and is cited numerous times by the Ramban in his commentary on the Torah. It is also paraphrased and quoted many times in the Zohar.
Attaining Worlds Beyond
Attaining The Worlds Beyond is based on the notebook given to the author by Rabbi Baruch Ashlag just before he perished. This notebook contained all the transcripts of the conversations with his father, Rabbi Yehudah Ashlag; the Rabbi of Jerusalem, and the greatest Kabbalist in our generation.

Gematria – A Preliminary Investigation of the Cabala – Frederick Bligh Bond

Number are the thoughts of God
Show the presence of a system of teaching by means of the doctrinal significance of number by which the holy names are clearly seen to represent aeonial relationships which can be conceived in a geometric sense and are capable of a typical expression of that order
Elements of the Qabalah (in ten lessons) – Eliphas Levi
Eliphas levi, born alphonse louis constant in 1810, wrote many significant works on kabbalah and the hermetic arts which strongly influenced the occult revival of the 19th century. These ten lessons were written in the form of letters to a disciple named montant and posthumously published. As levi himself said, my letters are short, but they are very concise summaries, and they convey a lot in few words.
Kabbalah and Freemasonry
In his Prestonian Lecture for the year 1933, V.Bro.Rev.W.Covey-Crump, M.A., Gr. Chaplin (England), brought to the notice of the Craft the very important influence which was exercised by the school of Kabbalistic thought at the time of the formation of the 1717 Grant Lodge. Bro. Covey-Crump subsequently expanded his thesis in a Paper delivered before the Masonic Study society in London.
Sefer ha-Yetzirah (The Book of Formation)
An enigmatic Judaeo-Gnostic text known from the tenth century, and quite probably dating back much earlier, the Sefer Yetzirah is concerned with the symbolism of numbers and the letters of the Hebrew alphabet. While not directly influential in the origin of Kabbalah, it later came to be given much status, and is still one of the central texts of modern Hermetic Qabalah
